At its branch offices, OTP banka started today providing banking services to the customers of Poštna banka Slovenije (PBS). Initially, PBS customers will be offered the option to perform only basic banking services, such as cash withdrawals and deposits as well as account balance checking, but it is anticipated that, at a later stage, also more sophisticated services will be available to them at OTP banka branch offices.
In accordance with the agreement entered into with Pošta Slovenije, OTP banka has been offering its customers for a number of years a possibility to perform certain banking services, such as opening an account, making deposits and applying for the loan 'Kredit Takoj' (instant loan), at PBS counters. A number of customers performing these services at PBS counters has increased particularly over the past two years. Through the cooperation with Pošta Slovenije, OTP banka has gained access to the largest and most evenly distributed network of offices in Slovenia.
Manja Skernišak, Member of the OTP banka's Management Board, expressed her belief that »by broadening our services, we expect to achieve a greater synergy effect of the OTP banka Group. We are committed to offer first-class services to PBS customers, just the same as our experts and experienced bankers have been providing in our business network for many years. At our branch offices, we will continue endeavouring to offer a wide range of different banking products and services of the OTP banka Group, with the aim to provide the best user experience based on well thought out advice and individual treatment of customers. Customers of both PBS and OTP banka may now perform certain banking services in more than 600 branch offices of OTP banka and Pošta Slovenije.«
