Effective today, Andrej Plos ends his term of office as the Member of the Management Board and his employment at OTP banka. The Management Board will again have two members as soon as Igor Žibrik, who has already been appointed as a Management Board member, is granted a licence by the Bank of Slovenia. Until then, OTP banka will ensure legitimacy and smooth running of its operations as well as swift adoption of business decisions on the basis of authorisation given to management members.
Andrej Plos has been with OTP banka for 18 years. He has been a member of the Management Board since 2010, and acted as its President from this January until 23 April. Mr. Plos' decision to leave OTP banka was reached by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board and the President of the Bank's Management Board. He will continue his career in the banking industry. Upon leaving, he said: »I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all my colleagues and business partners for their cooperation and support. During my career, which I started at OTP banka, I, together with other members of the management, have always acted professionally and in accordance with applicable legislation«.
Aleš Hauc, President of OTP banka's Management Board, added: »I wish Andrej Plos all the best for his future career. Our short collaboration was efficient and constructive«.
In accordance with his announcement made upon taking up the office, the President of the Management Board is determined to expand the Management Board, thus contributing to further development of the Bank. The information in this regard will be provided by the Bank in accordance with the rules applicable to public limited companies.
