OTP banka d.d. refunded today to its customers fees that they paid for withdrawing cash on ATMs of other banks in Slovenia in the period from 20 February 2006 to 30 November 2006, both dates inclusive, together with the default interest. As it is not expected the court procedure in this respect to be resolved quickly, and with the aim of acting for the benefit of its customers as well as other stakeholders, the Bank decided to make this payment, even though it has not yet received the decision of the Supreme Court with regard to the audit request being filed.
Customers who hold their personal account with OTP banka were repaid the fees into their personal accounts. Customers who no longer hold with OTP banka their personal account from which the withdrawals had been made and fees charged may, upon presentation of an identity card and the tax number, get the refund in any of the branches of OTP banka.
The holders of OTP banka personal accounts may check the amount of fees being repaid, together with the default interest, on the account statement for October 2010 or through the online banking service Bank@Net. For additional information, the customers may dial the toll-free (from Slovenia) phone number of OTP banka, 080 17 50, send a message to the e-mail address info@otpbanka.si, or pay a visit to one of the Bank's branches.
