Igor Žibrik was yesterday granted a licence by the Bank of Slovenia to hold the office of member of OTP banka's Management Board, thus fulfilling all legal and formal requirements to start working at the Bank. Igor Žibrik will start his new position in the second half of August.
Igor Žibrik was born in Šempeter at Gorica. He holds a BSc in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Maribor and an MSc from the University of California in Santa Cruz. He has 18 years experience in banking, both at home and abroad. Before joining OTP banka, he served as a member of the Management Board of NLB Prishtina, with his responsibility being risk management, prior to which he had worked for Creditanstalt AG and HVB Bank Austria in Vienna and Prague, and had been in charge of relationships with corporate customers at Raiffeisen Bank.
