These calls typically encourage you to share your screen and log in to your digital banking service. In some cases, fraudsters may also gain control of your device and operate it remotely.
Please be especially vigilant:
- Do not share your phone or computer screen with unknown individuals.
- Do not install remote access software or applications at the request of a caller.
- Do not click on links sent to you during a phone call.
- Do not approve requests, payments, or other actions in digital banking unless you initiated them yourself.
- Do not disclose your login credentials, one-time passwords, PINs, or other security information.
Please note that OTP banka will never ask customers to share their mobile phone or computer screen, install remote access software, or use external links to log in to digital banking. Likewise, the bank will never ask you to approve actions in digital banking that you have not initiated yourself.
If you receive a suspicious call, we advise you to end the conversation immediately. If you have already disclosed your information, take immediate action (change your digital banking password, block your card, etc.).
If you believe you have become a victim of online fraud, please contact us immediately by calling 080 17 70 or by emailing info@otpbanka.si, and report the incident to the relevant authorities.
By acting responsibly, you can significantly reduce the risk of fraud and continue to use banking services safely.
Thank you for your vigilance and trust.
