As we commemorate World Earth Day, we at Nova KBM are aware that we only have one planet, which is why we strive to preserve natural resources and treat them responsibly. Together with the ambassadors of our Bank, Olympic gold medallist Primož Roglič and his wife Lora, we promote various types of sustainable actions and a healthy lifestyle to our clients and employees, including the use of sustainable methods of mobility. We recently brought our rental bicycles, which can be used for business and private purposes, and which were very well received by employees, from Ljubljana to Maribor as well. There are 10 bicycles available to employees that can be rented at any time, which further boosts our efforts to transition into a low-carbon society
“We’re proud that employees are aware of the important role they have, as every single individual can contribute to green transition by changing their habits. Compared to 2020, Nova KBM reduced its carbon footprint in 2021 by 20% and our business model maintains a great focus on digitalization, paperless business, and introduction of automated processes that are supported by user-friendly AI. This year, we plan to further upgrade the measures by which we promote primarily sustainable mobility, and the excellent reception by our staff to bringing the bicycle rental service to Maribor as well proves that we are on the right path,” said Nova KBM CEO John Denhof.
